Arsenal has had a pretty good season up till now, having its shares of ups and downs. From wayward initial starts to being more stable as a playing eleven, it has emerged to be a great team this season. Having won its last four matches in a row, the team has been playing exceptionally well. Fabregas has been brilliant in his play making skills and has been in the top of the goal assists list with 8 goals. Rosicky, Arshavin and van Persie have provided a solid attack line to the team, making Arsenal the top goal scoring club as of yet this season with 24 goals. Gallas and Sagna on the other hand have given the perfect support to the team in the defence line making it very difficult for opponents to strike through.
Birmingham on the contrary has had an ordinary season, having won only two of their all eight matches. Their play hasn’t been up to the mark and they have not been able to make any impact on the opponents. Loose shots, sloppy passing and poor defending have been characteristics of their game. Their last match against Burnley was a total display of this. The attack line wasn’t able to coordinate and score. The defence on the other hand was just not able to stop the attackers from penetrating their goal. Mid-line was only a bit better, though they too many a times disappointed with their passing. On the whole, their performance has been quite lacklustre.
