Stoke City started the season on a good note, however losing their streak in matches that followed. They have won only two of their eight matches. Their team though has played with some intent. Player’s fitness has improved considerably. Passing has been more accurate and play making quite unique. However their only concern is their finishing. The attackers have not been able to give a perfect finish to a good pass, header or skilful moves. Collins has been the backbone of the team and has provided the team with immense support in the mid and defence line.
West Ham on the other hand has not played well this season, failing on the expectations of its fan club. They had started the season with a win but since then have not been able to register a single win. Their poor run has been characterised by injuries and bookings. Player fitness has been a key issue with the team management. Their last match however displayed some good play and a nice team effort. It was Stanislas who once again saved them from a loss, scoring at a crucial point. Diamanti showed some nice curving and well-aimed kicks that got the crowds cheering. All in all, the last match was a better performance than before and they shall certainly be hoping to keep it up.
