The first half being pretty eventless, second half witnessed the dismissal of Lennon due to injury and Spurs had to carry on with just 10 men. The stunner came in from Whelan in the finishing moments of the match, giving Stoke City a late lead and leaving little time for Spurs to recover.
Wolverhampton Wanderers haven’t tasted victory for the last 4 weeks now and their last two matches have ended without result. Their incapability to perform has disappointed many, including the fans and manager.
